    Re: the defense, they’ve got some players you have to be excited for moving forward.

    Tre Sterling, Harvel-Peel, Amen Ogbongbemiga, Trace Ford and Malcolm Rodriguez all return next year. Calvin Bundage will come back next year too, although as awesome as he can be as a pass rusher, he offers nothing in coverage skills and is not very gap sound.

    They’re currently 54th in defensive S&P+ with room to improve. If they held at 54th, it would be a decent improvement from year one under Knowles.

    Corner will be a huge question mark going forward, but I think ultimately the Knowles hire is a positive.

    One issue that might crop up in their last few games: Knowles blitzes a ton. I’m talking multiple 7 man pressures a game. Wonder if he does that against OU and how that turns out.

      I think the big question for 2020 OSU is the DL. If they had DL they’d be really good this year, finding loads of solid safeties and linebackers to plug in isn’t that hard.
